Roll Ring can be produced by static casting or centrifugal casting. The strength of the roll ring depend on the material and the depth of the groove. The width of the roll collar usually depend on the experience. For middle and small mills,the wide can be 50-100mm. For three high blooming mills, the width can be 60-150mm. For Large size and beam mills, the wide is 100-150mm. It is widely used on intermadiate and finishing stand of section mill.
